GordonKit is a small collection of practical web tools for learning and working, built in the open and designed to run entirely in your browser.
What GordonKit is
GordonKit brings together a handful of focused tools under one name. Each one solves a specific problem well rather than trying to be a platform.
Every service is a static web application. There is no account to create, nothing to install, and no server that needs your data in order to do its job.
Who maintains it
GordonKit is an independent project maintained by a small team. Development happens in public on GitHub, where issues and pull requests are welcome.
Principles
Open by default. The source code for each service is public so anyone can read how it works, or run it themselves.
Private by design. Nothing is tracked, and work stays on your device unless a tool explicitly says otherwise.
Fast and small. Pages are prerendered static HTML; they load quickly on slow connections and work without JavaScript for reading.
How the services relate
This site is the entry point. Each service lives on its own subdomain and is deployed independently, so an update to one never affects the others.
